Shana Rubin is a visual artist whose process utilizes natural elements intuitively. Employing her subconscious, she harnesses movement, energy, color and texture to create abstract works with graphic media. Shana’s work reverberates with the themes of the interconnectedness of the universe, energetic flow, and feminine wisdom. Shana channels both her background in psychotherapy, as well as her ancestral lineage, into her art. It is this interwoven language that allows each piece to tell its own captivating story. She is primarily a printmaker, but also works with various mediums including encaustic, textile design, wood burning, and fiber art. Shana is a native New Yorker who currently resides in West Orange, NJ with her boys and rescue dog, Mellow.
